A Little Bit of Faith: Have No Fear

Have you ever told someone close to you that wherever you may go, they will always be with you?  Many of us may have said this to someone close to us. We may have meant it or not. But when our Heavenly Father tells us something similar, we can believe it. We don’t have to wonder if He is thinking about us or preparing a place for us. In the book of John it says, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am” (John 14:3).

With Jesus, you don’t have to wonder if someone really is thinking about you or if they have prepared a place for you.  He has prepared the perfect place for you. All of our fears can be washed away when we know that Jesus cares about us and our wellbeing.  We can have assurance also knowing that when the time comes for us to leave this life, that He (Jesus) is waiting to receive us with open arms.

The special place that Jesus is preparing for us in heaven will be the perfect place for us to be. We won’t have to worry about anything because we will be with Him.  His word is true and we can depend on it. His word is perfect.

There is no other person we can trust with all of our dreams, sorrow, pain, and fears.  He is the only one. So if you have fear thinking about your mortality, fear not, Jesus will be there. Remember He said in John 14:3, “…I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”   We will be with Him in heaven for those who believe and trust in Him. Amen? Amen.
