Have you stopped to remember who is in control of your life? Yes, you may have. God is in control. That’s why it’s important for us to allow our Heavenly Father to take control of our lives.

Many of us have heard this Bible verse, “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain,” (Psalm 127:1). Often we are busy building and planning our future that we don’t stop to seek God’s will for our lives. We think that sense it is our lives, we should be in total control.

It’s difficult for us to hand the reins of our lives over to someone else, let alone God. However, it is only God who truly has a concern for us in all situations. Our heavenly Father wants us to be focused on Him and seek His will and His way for our lives. He wants us to allow Him to be the builder of our faith.

The choice is up to us. Either we allow God to rein in our lives or we hold onto the reins our selves. We are self-centered people and we base our decisions on what we see, feel, or desire. Sometimes, we even begin to think that perhaps we don’t need God to help us make any decisions.

But thanks be to God, if we seek His will and His desire for our lives, He is able and willing to help provide the solution to all of our problems. God is the problem solver. God is the one who can help us move forward in our lives and build the kind of life He would desire us to have. If we allow Him to be the builder of our faith, then He will lead us along the right path. Are you willing to allow God to rein over your life today? I know I am.  Amen? Amen.
