When life is hard, you need to”Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing…” (Psalm 98: 4-5). Have you ever found yourself simply singing a song quietly to yourself because you have joy in your heart? All of us have from time to time. In the book of Psalm, however, every single person around the world is supposed to be joyful in God and open their mouths to sing happily to Him with music and instruments.

When we are in Christ, our hearts are happy for all He has done for us. We are filled with gladness because God has done so much for us. Our hearts are joyful. When you are filled with gratitude, your heart is eager to show it in any manner. Often we show our gratitude with our words and our actions.

If we love our Lord, then it will be evident because it will be difficult to keep it shut up in our bones. Our joy will overflow in our lives. We won’t have to force it, we will not have to fake it, and we will not have to pretend. Our joy will be bursting forward.

Is your joy for God evident? Are you singing songs of joy to our God? Is it obvious that His joy is in you? Think about that. I know I will. Amen? Amen.
