• Texas Rangers Manager Ron Washington Resigns

• Parkland receives platinum award from Cardiology Foundation To receive this award, Parkland consistently followed the treatment guidelines in the ACTION Registry–GWTG Premier for eight consecutive quarters and met a performance standard of 90 percent for specific performance measures. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that more than 700,000 Americans suffer a heart attack each year. Last year, Parkland treated 127 heart attack patients.
